The Saanich Peninsula Chamber of Commerce blog is planned to be an insightful, informative, innovative content filled forum that informs, advocates, examines, evaluates, celebrates and discusses the vibrant business community on the Saanich Peninsula. While we will be writing regularly in this forum we welcome your comments and opinions. We want to hear your ideas, celebrate your successes, highlight your innovations and learn about the issues you face in running your business. In short we want to communicate with you.
We will use this blog to:
- advocate, inform and enlighten local councils on the issues facing local business;
- provide a forum for you to network and communicate with the business community on the Peninsula;
- promote successes in the business community on the Peninsula through media links, interviews and the web;
- pass on useful and usable information that will help you operate your business more successfully;
- notify you of networking and professional development events that the Chamber and other organizations in the region are presenting that provide real value to you;
- keep you up to date on the issues your Chamber is working on with local, regional and provincial governments such as workplace housing and transit/transportation;
- provide resources and links on business innovation and best practices; and,
- keep you up to date on Chamber business and community policy initiatives;
