The Shaw Ocean Discovery Centre showcases the extraordinary marine life in the waters surrounding the Gulf Islands. From plankton to giant Pacific octopus, with 87 tonnes of sea water & seventeen habitats, the Centre’s ever-changing seascapes & touch pools offer an unforgettable hands-on, hands-wet experience. The facility is available for rent outside of the regular business hours (10:00 a.m.– 4:30 p.m.) and is a wonderful site for receptions, parties, and all kinds of get-togethers.
