Peninsula Naturopathic clinic has been serving the Peninsula and the Gulf islands for 9 years providing comprehensive natural medicine to the community. Naturopathic medicine is a recognized health care approach that has been government regulated since 1921. Naturopathic doctors (ND’s) are trained and licensed as doctors and provide primary health care. Naturopathic doctors utilize preventative medicine, nutrition, botanical (herbal) medicine, homeopathy, physical medicine and lifestyle counseling to treat the patient as an alternative to pharmaceutical drugs or surgery. The clinic offers many services including blood allergy testing, acupuncture, chelation therapy and prolotherapy. Owner and physician, Dr. Kristen Bovee ND provides medical care to all ages from babes to the elderly. Her colleagues, Dr MJ Atkins, Dr.Shannon Sarrasin, Dr. Marita Schauch, and Dena McDonald RMT also welcome new patients for complete natural health management.
